The sound of the water's ancient heartbeat against the sand and rock is a lullaby for the soul. The wind's touch and caress is like a memory of a first love. The mournful chanting of a solitary seagull against an eternity of sky evokes a primitive longing for freedom which was once our natural birthright. At night, the boundless heaven is saturated with a countless number of white stars scattered across the sky.

Green rolling hills like waves clothe the land with their breathless beauty and serenity. Sounds of silence, a sense of utter and complete peace, the joy of living each moment are synonomous with the essence of PEI. Sea, sky, wind and earth - magicians that have transformed this island into a sanctuary for the heart and spirit. PEI is a living tapestry of the people, their history, culture, character, their hopes and dreams, their joys and sorrows. I will remember their smiles, their friendliness, their laughter, their music, their stores.

Vaunda and Ted - you are part of what makes this island so special and inviting. Your thoughtfulness, friendliness and kindness have made our stay here extremely enjoyable and unforgettable. You have created a welcomed refuge with your beautiful home, grounds and extreme attention to detail.

Impeccably decorated, spotlessly clean and unbelievable PEACEFUL are just some of the words that describe 'The Hideaway'! Here you just want to sit, reflect and savour the beauty all around you. Your haven has afforded us with the much needed relaxation and balance we so sorely hungered for in our lives! We will always remember the times we had together and the stories we shared. Coming to The Island has rekindled my Celtic roots and renewed my love for the Maritimes once again.
